Continue providing the same technology on an annual basis for five years until one classroom is fully equipped with computer workstations. Upgrade and maintain technology, as needed. Provide an instructor computer work station with JAWS software, MSOffice, speakers, and an internet browser by 2024. Provide a BRCK for reliable internet access as soon as one becomes available. Provide a series of online lessons in how to use adaptive technology (Dragon Naturally Speaking, etc.), MSOffice, and Internet research and safety. Network local businesses with blind schools and design a professional internship program where students can earn classroom credit for applying interpersonal and technology skills in a workplace by 2025. |
